We stopped in on a quiet Saturday afternoon. Got a table by the window on a beautiful sunny afternoon. Wait staff was very friendly and quick to answer questions. We had the Sensation salad with fried shrimp and the Shrimp Poboy. Both delicious. Shrimp cooked perfectly and the Shrimp sensation dressing was delicious. With a drink was about $40 for two. Really lovely setting but could see a long wait on a busy day.

NOT BIKER FRIENDLY!! My husband and I, along with another couple, stopped here on Saturday 11/8/25 afternoon while we were out on a motorcycle ride. We were greeted by a hostess who appeared very unhappy. We waited 15 minutes for a table. Once seated, the same unhappy young lady took our drink order. And she never came back. After sitting for another 15 minutes, we decided to leave. We felt incredibly discriminated against as if bikers were not welcome in the restaurant.

I wouldn’t even give it a star at all. First time we came here, today. We had to wait to be seated then no one came to wait on us. It’s 2025 people. Not 1900 hundred. This racism is getting really old. Shane on y’all. We were really looking to have some seafood. I would definitely tell people not to come to y’all’s Establishment. So disappointed. Thanks for making our day.
Really enjoyed the food and the service. Thank ya'll so much 💓

Very small portions for the prices, plus the manager refused to rectify a mistake that the restaurant made not to disclose multiple upcharges from their menu (or, at minimum, point them out by the server at the time the order was being placed) that she threw on the bill after the fact. There are far more reputable and superior restaurants in the area that I will be patronizing from this day forward.

The hub & MIL Loved it!
The view is beautiful and serene overlooking False River! Been there a few times. Even got to see the SIL, which is always a treat.

This is a good place to eat on False River. I like the large windows overlooking the lake.

Save your money. Small soft shell crab served with.......mashed potato's????? and 8 crawfish tails.30.00. My second and last bad experience. Mashed potato's??????? By the way , a pack of 10 soft shell crabs at market price is about 50.00. Smalls are even less.

Love this place. My family and I go there on Sundays for lunch sometimes. Food is always good and staff always friendly. Drinks are good too. If you're going on Sunday, go before noon. Tends to get busy when church lets out and you may have to wait for a table.

So good we came back the next Saturday afternoon. Four dishes all first rare and hard to beat the view of the lake drive, walk or boat in.
Come and get you some, it's good!

The food was miserable. We ordered fried onion rings for an appetizer. It appeared with 2/3 of the rings without batter - just naked onions glistening with grease. The rest of the rings - the batter that was there was falling off. All in all, it was the exact opposite of hot and crispy. We sent it back for a replacement. While we were waiting for the replacement, our entrees came out and they were not good either. I had the N.Y. strip with garlic mashed potatoes which was one of the specials of the day. I ordered the steak medium. It came out rare and tough. The potatoes were cold and gluey. My dinner guest ordered the Chicken Parmesan. It was lukewarm when served - the cheese wasn’t even melted - and there was only a very small amount of what looked like diced sautéed tomatoes on top of it. Whatever they were, it certainly wasn’t a tomato sauce. Then out came the replacement onion rings which didn’t look any different than the original slimy mess. Great job, guys!
