Southern Chicks Cafe & Daiquiris

Made wrong twice. First I got chicken that wasn’t fresh, although I ordered ahead and still had to wait in line for my order. Asked for heavy mayo, both sandwiches were slacking on that & it’s supposed to come with ranch but.. you guessed it. None. Sooo nice hearing “I gave her ranch!!!” From the kitchen. The right person would have started arguing. If they did add ranch, it was a pinch. Do better yall!

Ordered coleslaw with my Fried Chicken.
Found a staple in the coleslaw. I called to inform them and they were not concerned. Imagine what would have happened if the staple was swallowed. They said there coleslaw comes out of a bag that staples on the bag. Don’t eat here, it is not safe.

The service is terrible, the food took 30 mins. And the food came out cold. And this is not the first time this has happened to me, I don’t know why I keep coming back for this.broom and dustpan was out and tables were dirty . There was only 4 people in the restaurant and that included me I dined in and that was between 2.07 and I got my food at 2.27.. winder what would happen if I came thru the drive thru

It's good food. But it could be better if it wasn't so salty and spicy. Some people can't eat like that for one reason or another.

Waited an hour to get order people were served before us that came after us then was told they were out of chicken and fries . Absolutely horrible customer service . If I could leave zero stars I would .

The food was delicious!! these 2 kind lady’s named Maci and Ciara were so kind and loving!! 10/10 recommend

My straight unbiased experience is while the chicken is good, the overall price is too expensive. I travel for a living and that's all Southern, LA, sometimes I come to New Roads for work. I wanted to try this place, I heard it's "over seasoned" by someone local to the area. I didn't find that, the breading is well seasoned but I like it and with the honey mustard was great.
The potato salad was decent, the bread was like middle school lunch roll and it was the size of a child's portion.
I got 3 pc, with potato salad and a drink.. $16.14! Yes a 3 pc is THAT expensive here, I don't understand these outrageous prices.
I gave this place an honest shot and the chicken was good, but it's too expensive to justify for a quick drive thru meal.
If you don't care what you spend and are genuinely hungry, you'll have no issue here because the food is good.

Pretty nice place for New Roads. Definitely adds something new to try and don't forget the desserts. Tenders are the biggest I've ever had while still being well cooked and juicy.

Lady at the drive through was so rude to my husband while ordering that we almost just drove away without finishing ordering. He did finish ordering because I really like the food there. $46 for myself and my husband to get chicken tenders drinks. (They didn’t give me mine) and 2 desserts My husband is the most even tempered person and he almost lost it from the way the lady spoke to him while ordering. She was blonde haired lady working the drive through at 5:30 PM on 5/18/24. We live in new roads and will NOT be back. The foods great, but not worth the attitude.

Ordered online. Never received any confirmation email. Tried to call 3 times to check on meal. No one answered the phone. Walked into place 30 minutes after order. Was told they never saw the order on the "system". Took an additional 20+ minutes to make the order... fries were cold and mushy. Burgers were cold on the inside. And the worst thing..NO ONE CARED ENOUGH TO APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE! that's A POOR look to a st time customer! And to top it off, I was charged a $1 online order fee and a $2.20 fee for "order pickup".. they charged me $2.20 to pick up my own food that took 45 minutes to prepair.

Literally the worst chicken sandwich I've ever eaten. Sweet bun, globs of condiments, chicken was light blonde/uncooked flour color and tasteless. Not crispy, not very tasty, too sweet, bun falls apart, very messy to eat. $10 sandwich. I threw 1/2 away.
