Out of the way—it is on the side and towards the back across from what looks like a mechanic. Small and with a family atmosphere, almost as if you went to someone’s house and they were selling barbecue. Delicious pork steak and pulled pork! Haven’t tried other options yet.

Our first time there so staff suggested both of us getting the 3 meat plate so we could taste every meat they offered. Superb!!!!! We loved every mouthful. Such a hidden treasure. Will definitely be going back!

In town from Lafayette and was craving brisket. I purchased the two meat plate (brisket & sausage) with baked beans and greens beans. Was not expecting the food to be as good as it was! I will definitely order again when in town.

Today we dined in at Woodz Hawgs BBQ. It’s always a dilemma for my husband and I, because I don’t eat BBQ. They have other items on the menu. I had delicious shrimp tacos while my husband enjoyed his pulled pork sandwich, potato salad, and BBQ beans. He said his was delicious as well. It’s in a bit hidden location, but once inside it’s extremely clean and beautifully decorated. We highly suggest that you try this place!
Kid-friendliness: They had a tv on and it was just laying the movie “Old Yeller”.
