I love it here! The food is super fresh and the staff is super friendly and attentive. There is lots to choose from and the food is so flavorful. It is a great place for the whole family or hang out spot for friends. I can’t wait to come back. I love finding local and new places to try.

Sorry, I wanted to like this so bad......macaroni wad nasty mush and chicken was bland, barely cooked, and dripping with grease. Won't be going back, there's 2 gas stations within ½ mile with far superior chicken. Unfortunately ANOTHER swing and a miss in PR ☹️

Decided to try for the first time, ordered Combo Meal 3 piece white meat. Service was good, food was horrible. 2 breasts were dry, cold and very chewy. The skin was "rubbery" and bland. The chicken wing was basically a block of something - rock hard and non-eatable. To put an exclamation point on the meal, the roll included was stale. I could have gotten a much better meal at Popeye's for 1/2 the price. I hope they figure it out. Pearl River needs more quality business'. When I see more 'traffic' and better reviews, I'll do my best to give them a second chance.

Fried chicken was good flavor and crispy. I had chicken liver wasn't as crispy as I like but next time I'll ask for a little crisper. All in all food and service was very good. Come and enjoy friendly staff.

Joey must be playing baseball again because he just hit a home run! Good atmosphere, artwork, music, but most importantly, the chicken is hittin I know where I’m pickin! We tried the house sauce and the honey mustard. All the sauces are in double size sauce containers. We got the Mardi Gras deal with the tenders, Mac and Cheese, and Cajun fries! If you don’t try the fries in the honey mustard you’re missing out! Probably the best honey mustard I’ve had and the house sauce has a lemon hint that is delicious. Everything was cooked fresh and not under a lamp. The tenders are huge and crispy, if you eat more than 3 you’re putting in work! Will definitely go back and hope they have onion rings soon on the menu! Only downside in my opinion is canned drinks, would rather fountain, but I’m sure once they get established they’ll have those things. Will definitely go back, I am stuffed!

Great portion of food for $10! The owner was in the store when I picked up and they even had meals for people in hard times that they can give the ticket to a server and get their food at no charge. Atmosphere was clean and food was very good and filling. They also have a homemade sauce that is very good. Definitely recommend to try them! The chicken is not too greasy and the Mac and cheese is very good

Good local spot! Chicken tenders were huge and they aren’t shy with the portion sizes for the sauces. Only wished that the roll was toasted with butter. Chicken was cooked perfectly! Also loved how they had already paid for food tickets for people who needed it!
The chicken was a little greasy for my taste but it was delicious. Definitely we'll go

My wife and I put a carry out order tonight. The female who answered the phone was very friendly. She said it would take about 15 minutes for our food to be ready. When I walked through the door I was instantly greeted by 2 young females behind the register. I don’t remember their names but they were very cordial. The food was great. The food reminds of “home style” cooking. The chicken tenders are large! The mashed potatoes and gravy and red beans were fresh. The French fries were good as well. Look forward to more meals with The Chicken Box! I will be recommending them to others as well.

I JUST GOT THROUGH EATING THE BEST TENDERS I EVER HAD AND THEIR SIDES!!!! OMGOSH THEIR SODES ARE LIKE HOMEADE DELICIOUS!!!!! AND THEIR CHICKEN IS OUT OFBTHIS WORLD YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS PLACE!! Been there a couple times and the chicken is AMAZING! Perfect amount of seasoning! Loved the fried okra, mac n cheese, and the mashed potatoes are definitely hand made! My son loves the tenders and the chicken sandwich, and he’s very picky! So glad I don’t have to drive to Slidell to get him good chicken anymore. Keep it up! Love y’all!
