I took a trip with some good friends of mine to eat here. You won't find any food like this anywhere in the baton rouge or New Orleans area. This food is one of a kind. It was like the food that my grandma used to cook years ago. It brought back a lot of memories. The service was fantastic. The waitresses were real nice and you could tell they were from the country because they waited on your hand and foot. This one waitress was like Superwoman did most of the dining room...
Our go to seafood restaurant every time we visit family. The only negative we can say is that you should check your food more thoroughly to ensure it is all there. We often have a year between visits, but on the last two visits/orders there were items missing from the order. From our experience, we'd always called afterwards to tell them we were missing an item and they would have it ready for pickup when we returned to the restaurant. Will definitely go back!
Restaurant was just as imagined. Very, very friendly. Food was excellent. Anyone that doesn't think so is a very picky eater. They are a small Restaurant so they won't have every flavor of everything. They cater to local folk not city folk.
