We have always loved eating here. However tonight the food was horrible! The whole catfish were so salty you could barely eat them… in fact i didn’t. I left them on the table. My husband had frog legs. First of all they were brown. Frog legs are white meat.. second of all they were friend so hard. Just horrible experience!

While I’ve eaten here for years I’m not sure what has happened. I recently ordered takeout, my usual, a large fish plate (6 piece) thin and crispy. What I got was 6 SMALL pieces of fish, looked to be a fillet cut into 4ths (literally the pickle
was bigger than the fish), a tablespoon portion of coleslaw, and two very small hush puppies. Absolutely not with the price paid.

Come on, ya’ll can do better, you used to be better.

Ordered cokes. Mine tasted funny. I asked the waitress to take it back and bring me something else. The food got to the table before she came back with my drink. The table was sticky. The laminated menu was filthy. The wall beside the table was covered in old ketchup and other substances. The fish was mid. The hush puppies were AWFUL. Almost burned on the outside cold and mushy on the inside. When I went to pay the check there was a sign at the register that using a credit card cost more. Ok I had 10 minutes to think about that one before someone came to take my payment. When I told the lady that all 4 orders of hush puppies at my table were cold and mushy she told me she loved them. Wait staff was very inattentive. Check came with the food and waitress Hannah disappeared.

Ordered 3 fish 6 shrimp combo. Food tasted ok. The fish were actually half pieces so I really got one and a half pieces and the shrimp were small. Their prices should be lowed accordingly. Won’t be there again. Definitely not worth $23.

I use to go to this restaurant as a kid and it was one of my favorite restaurants hands down seeing how I LOVE seafood . But I have to be honest the last 3 times I have been in the last 2 yrs it wasn’t even worth the money spent . Just went last night for my friends BDay dinner and everything was cooked in old grease , fish was not whole pieces , the fried shrimp was ok , the stuffed crab was burnt along with the fish and fries . Frog legs were small and did not taste good at all the oysters were over cooked as well . I’m sad to say this place needs a revamp as far as the cook for sure . The waitress was nice and attentive , strange I didn’t see anyone who looked over 21 waiting tables for at the register . Maybe they weren’t the kit but think my reason I gave 2 starts is the waitress do do her job and my heart break because this was a mutually loved establishment of the entire community . I’m just sad to see the state of this place ☹️

I really really wanted this place to be good.

The food was all cooked in old grease. The restaurant had a decent feel to it. The initial experience seemed to be going good, until we got the food. I am a human garbage disposal and I could not stomach half my food. I love seafood… Just not theirs. The stuffed shrimp was freezer burnt, the fish over fried, the oysters undercooked, and the stuffed crab tasted freezer burnt as well just not as freezer burnt. All foods crust was greasy and tastes like a mix of everything :/. The bathrooms were super disgusting as well, not customers leaving it nasty, it was from lack of cleaning.

I have been going to Cajun Catfish house going on 45 years and 1 rebuild. It's always been my favorite fried fish restaurant 😋 the fish pieces are getting smaller 😋 but still awesome. Love the corn nuggets and potatoe salad.

Ordered 2 fish and shrimp plates to go . When I got home with them ( about 15 minutes away ) I opened the containers to find burnt fish , rubbery shrimp and 2 hush puppies the size of ping pong balls that were so hard we couldn’t eat them. All at a very expensive price. The sad part about this is this place used to be really good. I can truly say that it SUCKS now. If you want good food GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I ordered the 3 fish 3 shrimp combo for a pick-up. They were out of coleslaw so I asked for extra fries. When I went there the food was not ready. When I did receive it I took it home, about 7 minutes away. The food was cold and very small portions. I will find some place else in my new neighborhood.

I always love the people, the food and service! It's the only place I can find Whole Catfish like my families Friday night fish fry's!!! DO NOT GO IF YOU HAVE A PEANUT ALLERGY! :)
