Off the beaten path for sure but the cracklins are worth it!! Also try the crawfish pies, they were awesome as well😜
This place is very run down, and the atmosphere is terrible. The owner is rude when you try to talk to them and even order from them. Food has an awful taste. It's not a place I would try if I were local or out of town.

Snow ball was the bomb
Just try the spicy boudin
Snow ball was the bomb
Like their crawfish. And price is good.
I'm only giving it one star because I didn't even get to taste it and we drove all the way from Leesville Louisiana cuz it said it was open on the website that I didn't think about calling till like we're already in Alexandria so it was a wasted trip and I'm kind of upset about it but they should note that they are at a festival and will be back at a later time. call first at least they were kind enough to leave a message on there.
Everytime I go the food is always amazing. The boudin is my favorite single item. Both spicy and mild. Their plate lunches are also to die for. Plenty of sides with a hearty main course. You'd be crazy not to get your southern comfort food from here.
Very good crawfish. Spiced just right and easy to peel.
Food was overpriced and GREASY.
