This place is AMAZING! To be honest, looks pretty rough from the outside. BUT! Inside, it's beautifully painted and decorated to be lively and fun. It smelled so fresh and clean! Patrons sitting amongst the tables with their families. We got takeout- the chimichangas were some of the best we've ever had! The chicken fajitas for two could have easily fed three, the salsa was smooth and thick and delicious, and the poblanos were HOT! The rice was good. I think they use lard in the beans, it was different than what we are used to in the North. I wish we lived closer because I'd eat here every week if I could!

Food is always awesome. Just don't order anything to drink that is made with Plain Dealing water or your stomach will be jacked up. A filter of some kind could be implemented maybe? Would be nice if the town itself would make changes to their water system

I'm so impressed with Chavo's! Being new to the area, I'm so glad to have found a fantastic Mexican Restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious, the staff is amazing and the place is spotless clean! We will definitely be coming back.....often:-)

There is this little Mexican place."Ever since I was young and traveling down to TJ, I have always looked for the small mom and pop Mexican restaurants, and Chavos did not disappoint!
