was just passing by and decided to stop at Tacos La Kanita—so glad I did. The chicken tacos were juicy and perfectly seasoned, while the steak tacos had that smoky, tender flavor that makes you want more. Fresh tortillas and balanced toppings tied it all together. An authentic spot worth pulling over for!
Cool little spot with some great tacos. I tried four different tacos- chicken, steak, picadillo and brisket. Each one was very flavorful. The salsa here is perfect. Really impressive, especially for Louisiana.

The food was SUPER good! We love a good taco place and are grateful that this place is so good and so close to home and we don’t have to go to Baron Rouge!
This place is one of best without having to go across the bridge.
