Connies is a great place in Pontchatoula La.!! Been in business 40 years now! Me and my work crew discovered this place 2 summers ago while working nearby, and we have eaten here every time we are back working in Pontchatoula. The food is homemade, and so good! It doesn't look like much but, the staff was nice, I had the bacon cheddar jalapeno burger and it was Delicious, it would have been nice if the bun had held together a little bit better, but it did not in any way take away from the flavor, Patty was cooked well and still juicy, and between it, the bacon and the fried jalapenos there were plenty of textures to enjoy. The sweet tea could use some work but I'm fairly picky when it comes to Sweet tea so that may be on me...
