Their hawaiian fajitas are excellent! Spicy and creamy! The cheese and veggies dip was also delicious!

Waitress was very sweet! Our dinner came out quickly. I recommend the fajitas. My daughter ordered the tortilla soup w/chicken but it wasn’t to her liking. The sweet waitress brought her out two tacos instead which she enjoyed!

One of the best Mexican restaurants in the Ponchatoula Hammond area. I am always met with a friendly hostess in the most amazing chips and salsa on every occasion I’ve visited. One of my favorite meals here at like La Catrina Mexican restaurant is the fajitas there cooked just right every time.

Went to LA Catrina in Ponchatoula... hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever been to....unfortunately the owner said they do be closing down soon because they need more business.....I had the "off menu" Fajita Quesadilla. This was huge and extremely tasty. 2 of us ate and with tip it was only 50.00....Insane. Great food, great service..... please go try it let's keep them open.

Nice staff, good food, just not crazy about how much prices have gone up.

Tried this place a few times. Best I can describe the food is low on flavor. Undercooked chili rolling. Chef seems to be lazy. I've given it my last chance.

Food was ok. Waitress was horrible. Was not attentive at all. Don't think she spoke any English either. Will not go

Experience was bad, took forever for waiter to take my drink order, he waited till our whole group was there to take food orders instead of doing it we were seated, which resulted in a lot of simple, fast orders sat in the window and got cold waiting for the other meals. The meat in my Taco Salad was cold and tougher than shoe leather. Had there been more time, i would have refused it, but had a meeting to attend! Seated at 5:10 pm , meal arrived at 6:35 pm....then on top of that, mandatory gratuity for 8 or more people for slow service and cold food. Would have confronted manager, but had another obligation that i was late for!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! ALSO....... THE MARGARITA HAD NO ALCOHOL IN IT!!!! I CANNOT GIVE LESS THAN 1 STAR AS WITH NO STARS ...NO COMMENTING!¡!!!

Amazing food, quality, and service. Amazing food that is very good and tastes amazing. Servers are amazing and very polite.Edit: Thank you to Oscar, and the bartender, didn't catch your name. You two give top of the line service and are always very helpful everytime we go. The entire staff is amazing, but you two stand out. Thank you!

On a road trip from North MS to Texas, we stopped in for a bite to eat. We were greeted by the sweetest staff. The chili Rellenos were amazing and the beans didn't come from a can. Huge margaritas that were spot on. Don't miss this hidden gem!!

If you are anywhere near this place; be sure to stop in! We stopped in right at 4pm on a Thursday -- and instead of eye rolls and little attention by the staff; they seated us immediately, were patient but thorough in our multiple requests and treated us like we were family. The large margarita is legitimately large (2 of us shared it!), the chili rellenos were perfectly cooked with a gooey cheese center and the beans and rice were very authentic tasting! Don't skip the queso - it's amazing as well. 5 stars -- would stop here again in a heartbeat!!
