We had a great lunch at Paul’s during our first time through Ponchetoula. The service was great and friendly. The menu was big and they had several lunch specials. It was full but not crowded and we enjoyed a great meal. The special was grilled catfish and I picked broccoli and green beans to go with it. There is something for everyone and you really can’t go wrong here
This place has some of the best pastries anywhere; prices are slightly more than one might expect to pay but the quality is worth every penny. Paul's Cafe is also famous during Mardi-Gras season for the amazing King Cakes.
Great little Main Street cafe. We enjoyed the breakfast. Service was great. The pancakes were delicious and seemed to be made with wheat flour.
We enjoyed good coffees sat outside, looking over at the old railway and chatting with the lady owner, who made some recommendations which we followed up. Cute place.
Great food.. the service was excellent. There was always someone around asking if we needed anything.

Great food, friendly attentive staff, a favorite place to spot locals enjoying saying "hello" to and bantering one another.
This has been a favorite of my husband's for years. I enjoy the homestyle daily specials. This is one of the only places my husband will order a poboy. Always polite and excellent service from the entire staff. Prices are reasonable. And the soft serve ice cream is always a treat.

I'm not sure why anyone would recommend this place to anyone. Smallest portions ever, but that's not even the issue ... Microwaved mashed potatoes, burnt corn dogs for the kids, unsalted fries.... And PICKLES in a chef salad?? Is that a southern thing? Gross. Chicken fried steak was about the size of my hand. We came from another state where the chicken fried steaks hang off the plate. That meal was an embarrassment for this entire state. Glad we got that off our list. Never again.
