I never leave reviews, but I had to take a moment to recognize Jamal at the Rally’s in Ponchatoula. He was so thorough and polite—after we ordered through the AI at the drive-thru, he double-checked our entire order and even asked if we needed a drink holder or ketchup. His candor and positive demeanor really stood out, especially at 10:45 in the morning. You can tell he genuinely cares about customers and getting things right. Tonight my girlfriend ordered online and got a choose 2, loaded fries, and a blue raspberry slushie. I went to go pick it up, I parked, and when someone finally came to the window I told them I had a mobile order. He closed the window and said nothing and seemingly went to do drive thru customers. When he came back he said they couldn’t do the slushie so I said just replace it with a coke zero, came back after a few minutes with a medium coke zero. I told him sorry to be a bother man, but she paid $3.29 for the slushie she’s not getting anymore, could I at least get a large coke zero since that’s $3.19. He said nothing again and went back to change it, then after 1-2 more minutes he comes back with a large one. When I got home I realized he filled my coke zero with 90% ice and the rest with coke zero. That was really crappy and I don’t feel I got value for what I paid for. The photo is after I finished the coke zero and a little bit of ice already melted.
