I am nothing but pleased with this location! I ordered a cookie cake and when I picked it up, I noticed the colors on Happy Birthday were wrong but I took it because I didn’t want to be a pain… however after leaving at looking at it again and again, I just didn’t like it. I went back 10 minutes later and talked to the employee and they were so nice! It wasn’t a big deal, mistakes happen, I just wanted it fixed. They offered a solution and were totally professional. No one was mean, no one was mad, and everyone was friendly. I left completely happy and everyone LOVED the cake, it tasted great! Will definitely be returning.

Do not stop here and order a cake. Order my daughter a cake on October 10 for her birthday and thought a professional was going to decorate my cake. A newbie did and you can tell she was new but that was not the problem. The problem was she told me I was going get a refund for my horrible cake and never recieve one. So if you looking for a good service look else where.

On my visit today, I brought in all four of my grandbabies. They are from the age of 5 - 10. They were definitely very rambunctious during their visits because they were so excited about cookies and ice cream. Kayla, the manager, was so good with all of the kids. She was helpful even though there was a lot of business while we were there. She was amazing!
Parking: There are plenty of parking spots right out front.
Kid-friendliness: Great with kids. Very patient and friendly.
Wheelchair accessibility: There are a few handicap parking spots right in front of the door and there is a ramp to the sidewalk.

Ordered a cookie cake (the BIG one) for pickup on a Saturday but needed it sooner and they were able to do that on short notice for me!! The woman who helped me on the phone was Ashley and she was so kind!! 10/10 customer service!

The employees are having the equiptment go out. The ice scream freezer goes out. The plumbing fails and corperate will not fix the equiptment and the issues they are resposble for. These employees are working the best they can with the equiptment they have. They do the best they can. Fix your freezers floor drains and any other things that need maintenance. Look at your turnover.
I come here sometimes on my break at work and let me tell u this place is amazing. The staff is super friendly and they always have my order ready fast.

I’m not one to leave reviews but as someone in the business industry and being an upset mama, I feel it’s my place to write one. I placed a Mickey Mouse cake order for my son’s second birthday. I was really looking forward to his birthday cake since he’s obsessed with Mickey Mouse and is finally at the age to get excited about things that he has an interest in. I had my husband pick up the cake on his way home from work. When he got home from work, I looked at the cake and it was Minnie Mouse!!! I know mistakes happen but this could have been completely avoidable. I reminded the lady who took my cake order what I wanted twice and then sent a text message saying exactly what I wanted with pictures. Like any upset customer would do, I called Great American Cookie Co in Port Allen to let them know that they messed up my cake order. The older lady who answered the phone was the least understanding and did not even say one time that she was sorry. If you’re looking for a place with great customer service and customer satisfaction, this is not the place to go. I hope the team members learn how to be understanding and learn from this lesson. I would hate for another mama looking forward to her child’s birthday cake be in this same position.

Buyers beware. $2.30-$2.50 per cookie ( not cookie cake slice) so don't expect to drop in and pick up some warm fresh cookies... Mine weren't even fresh. Expect that they only make them when they run out so if they made peanut butter cookies 2 days ago and they haven't sold them all they won't be making more.. expect to pay full price for old cookies. Lol when I rung up 12 cookies and I said wow $2.xx per cookie the employee said yeah it's crazy how much they charge, I wouldn't buy them lol. I tipped and I probably won't be coming back unless they start selling FRESH BAKED.
