Anyone who comes to this WH regularly probably knows Kimbo. From the first time we saw her here the general atmosphere of the staff started to improve. I and my bestie are semi regulars - a couple times a month. When we walk in Kimbo recognizes us and it’s like we are all old friends. Welcoming atmosphere doesn’t even begin to describe it when she is here. Today I walked in and she had already had them start my order. Her interaction with coworkers is out of this world. Not sure if she is the reason but unlike other WH I go to, you don’t hear trash talk and personal drama between employees here. .

Walked in and immediately was welcomed in by all the beautiful faces this place had to offer. On top of the great hospitality was the food tasting like it was made with love. I’m not from here but the hospitality sure made this traveling soldier want to move here. Thank you Waffle House Port Allen!

They play around too much in this restaurant that they always get the food wrong. Every-time you do a pick-up order it’s wrong. I just watch one of the dudes put raw bacon on the grill then touch the inside of the container that he had to put my cook food in ( with the same glove ). Mind you he didn’t changed the gloves when he just finish mopping the food and went straight to puttting raw bacon on the grill for the man sitting next to me. I was trying to tell him hold up but they was talking so much with each other I gave up. I pick up my food at 6:20 am, it’s currently 6:49 when they had to cook me fresh bacon to add to the bowl of food they forgot it on.
