Staff a lil nasty
Heather and Heidy were soooo sweet! I love this location❤️
My daughter and I have been coming here pretty often since they switched to this location. We are repeat customers for 1 reason only.. everyone who woks here so kind and happy! They are so patient with my daughter when she wants to try every flavor of ice cream or when we come in right before closing time or even today when it was storming and we got ice cream through the drive thru window. We all just laughed off the chaos of it all and the employees were so nice even though they couldn’t hear me through the speaker and then they got soaked passing ice cream to us.
Many places nowadays do not care about customer service and their employees seem miserable but not here! Such a breath of fresh air. These young workers need some raises or a BIG summer bonus!
We arrive at the Prairieville location to purchase 2 quarts of ice cream. My husband says hello several times with no reply. I say hello but again no reply. I ask that he pull on the door to see if someone is in the venue. He says yes so we pull up to the window where 3 young ladies are talking. We tell them that we've been saying hello for about 3 mins. 1 of the young ladies ask us to pull back around behind 3 other vehicles behind us to attempt to place our order at the speaker again. We tell her we're not doing that! She then takes the order at the window. After receiving the order another young lady comes to the window with an attitude to tell us next time they will not take our order at the window. The whole interaction on the workers part in my opinion was stupid and uncalled for. We are paying customers. I think they need to understand that if customers don't pull up to buy they don't have jobs. Take accountability that they were in there playing around not paying attention to their head phones. Why inconvenience or have an attitude with a paying customer for your error. Just as a note this occur 6/6/25 at about 8 pm. Baskin Robins Prairieville teach your workers about customer service or you won't have many good paying customers. I called and asked for a manager but yeah they didn't know who the manager was conveniently. I'll find out soon because no one should be treat that way over ice cream.
Took a couple of minutes for them to acknowledge us when we came in even though there were 5 of them in there. It looked like 3 of them were training 2 of them on how to scoop ice cream, which is fine, but not when there are customers waiting? Then someone finally asked if we needed anything... well duh lol
About to find a new ice cream place. Ice cream is good but they claim to be out of waffle cones and bowls every. single. time. If you’re always running out just make more???
I have no plans of returning here again. They were the rudest and nastiest employees that I've come across. When you're employees are bad mouthing customers, make sure the customer doesn't understand Spanish first. I'm not even sure why they were angry, maybe they just didn't want to be bothered with customers.
This baskin Robbin’s is horrible. I’ve been to this same one with my wife & kids & they randomly NEVER have waffle bowls or waffle cones. The place is chaotic & people standing in the back acting like they have orders or calls but are just playing on phone. There is a couple kids who are nice in there. Don’t offer stuff you can’t supply & don’t use the excuse you’re too busy with 4 people to serve ice cream. Give me a break.

very rude customer service at the drive thru. first time i came no one answered the drive thru for any customers. i am currently here now and as soon as i pull up before i even put my window down she was talking and i didn’t hear. i go on with my order and she yells at me “I WILL BE WITH YOU IN ONE MOMENT.” not like the old prairieville location, will not be returning. i rather drive to baton rouge.

Baskin - Robbin’s so not worth the money anymore. As a kid we loved coming here. But not they don’t even fill the bowl and the double beach Sunday is a total rip off

One of the employees may need a little bit of extra help, my sundae arrived to me melted in my cup upon receiving it. Usually this sort of problem doesn't occur, just disappointing since I recommend this establishment to close acquaintances.

So impatient. We attempted to go through the drive thru and needed a moment to let our kids pick out what they wanted. When we were about to order, the girl on the speaker said “my god, come on” and sighed loudly. We were so offended that we ended up just driving away and going somewhere else that we usually go for ice cream.

I took my daughter for ice cream after school today and while I was paying my daughter licked her ice cream and the whole scoop fell on the floor. The lady checking me out was helpful and wanted to get her another scoop but the short chubby lady said “we can get her another scoop for $1 extra”…the $1 wasn’t an issue, it was the principle. You watched a CHILD drop her ice cream and that was your response? Her life must be terrible. Anyway we won’t be returning here.
I was so excited to try this new location , the atmosphere was nice and clean , however, I noticed some of the ice cream appeared to have ice on top of it. I should have did a taste test for my flavor bc once I received my cookie and cream ice cream , it was definitely freezer burnt. The ice cream had an icy taste to it. I was so disappointed bc I was looking forward to this ice cream after driving here from Baton Rouge , directly from work. I could have gone to another location but I was just excited to try this location , especially bc it has a drive-thru. Which was closed when I visited. Not sure if it’s just not open yet or I came on the wrong day. Overall the staff was great. I did find my scoops to appear smaller than usual ,however the gentleman was nice and greeted me with a smile.
