The food, atmosphere, and service were all great and I would gladly recommend Franks. The bayou benedict, which was very good, has an optional lump crab upcharge ($12 extra) which amounted to a pretty pitiful amount of lump crab meat put on the plate and would not recommend the option.

My friend and I went at 10AM. We had the fried shrimp, and it was delicious. He had drove in from Texas to see me. We were neighborhood friends and had not seen each other in 58 years. We bought pralines after lunch. Thanks for the friendly atmosphere and sweet waitress that waited on us.

The food was very good. My husband had the chicken fried steak and I had the fried oysters. That being said, i had two complaints. We did take-out back to our hotel. I asked about plasticware and they said "in the bag". When we got back to the hotel there was one set of plasticware for two dinners. The hotel helped us out and got platicware from their breakfast area. Also they did not provide any cocktail sauce or tartar sauce with the oyster dinner. Finally the service...
