Galvez Seafood is your typical South Louisiana seafood restaurant. If you're a seafood lover, it might hit the spot, but for anyone who isn't, it's probably not the best choice. Overall, just an okay experience.
The best local establishment. Always pleasant and satisfying. Generous tasty portions. They even went out of their way to provide a special made favorite they only make every other Thursday. If you live in the area and have not been here. You are truly missing out on a great experience.
Galvez Seafood has an amazing atmosphere with a cool vibe that really captures the essence of the local culture. The server was extremely friendly and on point, making our dining experience even better. I ordered the shrimp po'boy, which was absolutely delicious and massive! It was very bready, but I loved it – they put so much fried shrimp on it! Two of my coworkers ordered the tacos and they were just as impressed.
