Griffin Grill

Simple, super clean cafe. I ordered a dressed cheeseburger, fries and drink. Well prepared and assembled burger, easy to eat, good flavor and not at all greasy. Like homemade. Good fries. Uncomplicated menu, bring the family. Ordered at counter, brought to table. Ask for mustard when ordering. Only downside is foil pack ketchup and no hot sauce, salt and pepper on table. Reccomended.

Not a luxury fast food, but definitely one of the best.
The sandwich and the fries are generously sized and freshly made.
The Burger is one of the best I've had in a while (if not the best). I was welcomed with a big smile and a cheerful face.
Bottom line, I'm so glad I changed my route to stop at the Griffin Grill and I'd definitely do that again when I'm back in Baton rouge/ Geismar area.

I had the cheeseburger and it was really good. There was a bit of a wait but I am not sure if it was exaggerated in my mind because I was starving having had to fast for many hours proceeding my surgical procedure, but at least it was a really good burger. Now I will say that the onion straws were a bit overdone, but still not bad tasting.

Milkshakes are top notch

The people are nice but the burgers are DRY. I’ve eaten here a half dozen times because my friends rave about the burgers. I can no longer trust food recommendations from these friends and question if they have ever had a juicy burger. I met the definition of insanity coming here 6 times expecting a different result. I’m disappointed because I like to support local businesses but this one let me down.There is some weird infatuation with this place, since some of the pictures literally show dry burger meat yet the person who posted the picture gave a glowing 5 star review about the burger.I will admit that the tater tots are awesome.
