I don’t normally do this but I have just have had enough. Expect to ripped off if you make a substitution for a side that cost the exact same amount of money, they will charge you an additional three dollars for that substitution. They’re making money unnecessarily for that substitution. Think about how many patrons eat there every night and make substitutions and get gigged,if 50 people eat there and make a substitution that’s $150 of unnecessary money made off of their customers. And honestly, their food has gone down over the years. I keep giving them chances, but this was the last straw. I’m tired of businesses, taking advantage of customers. Other restaurants do that only if the item cost more money, I expect that, but when items on the menu are equal cost, it’s a shame. They have lost my business.

Had a business lunch meal with 5 and everything we had was amazing. The fried artichoke and picante oysters both really good. I had the shrimp poboy and it was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The location is kind of tucked away behind a gas station but spacious inside. check it out!

We go here a few times a year, and it's always really good. The gumbo, the salads, catfish, and the sandwiches are what we most commonly get. Always very solid. And it's quieter than most places around here at lunch, so way easier to have a conversation.

We went for lunch. My wife's food fried seafood platter was good to go. My chargrilled oysters were supper small and took forever to come out. My wife food had come out and she was almost done with her platter before I got my super small oysters that were not hot. I ordered a seafood platter to go and it came packaged and bagged to go and was over cooked. All of the food was almost burnt. Not a very good experience for $100.

Food was hot when picked up. I ordered a fish and shrimp plate with fries and macaroni. Fries tasted old and macaroni had a strange taste like the cheese that was used was bad. Definitely just boiled noodles and threw cheese on the top. Hush puppies were salty on one plate slightly burned on the other plate. The grilled fish and shrimp with stuffed potato were good.
