There have been several South of Philly restaurants around Baton Rouge over the years. Glad this one is carrying on the tradition. Service is excellent as is the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. I love their onion rings and they have alot of other sides

I prefer going here for lunch. The people that run it then seem to have better people skills. My father and I went there around 630pm no one was in line at all. We sat at the counter for about 10 minutes before someone called in an order and then someone walked in after the phone call for a to go order. After she helped him and took the phone order she decided to take our order.The people at lunch focus on the customers at the register and in the dining room first in a first come first serve kind of thing.Either way the food was pretty good. French fries and onion rings were to die for, especially with malt vinegar on the fries! I got the 12 inch pepper steak with no green peppers (just jalapeños) with pepper jack cheese. Brought home half the sandwich and half the small order of fries. The sweet tea was awesome!Highly recommend this place! Maybe the people running it tonight weren't feeling to good, at least the cook was on point. Go here it is incredible!
