First time trying Southern Maid doughnuts, but I was not real impressed with the doughnuts. The service and friendliness of the staff are way above most places, and they had several doughnuts that are unique to their shop. All the doughnuts were very dense and not very airy and chewy. The strawberry icinged one was very good, and their blueberry fritter was a nice size and had a thick blueberry flavor. The glazed, double chocolate, and jelly puff had very little taste. It's...
A friend told me about this place recently so I stopped in to pick up a dozen for work. These donuts are amazing!! An old school donuts shop id recommend to anyone!! Thanks for the friendly service, and great donuts!
