The Jambalaya Shoppe - Prairieville

Had them twice now.
Lots of rice & liquid smoke. You're lucky to find a scoop with chicken or sausage (you'll be digging a while).

It's great if you're trying to feed a big group and don't want to be asked to feed them again, or if you're carb loading before a big race.
Do not let a visitor to Louisiana think this is jambalaya.

Jambalaya was horrible! There’s absolutely no reason Jambalaya tastes like this. They use to be good? Idk what happened! Don’t waste your time or money for real!

Not the biggest fan of their jambalaya believe it or nor but they have great white beans and red beans and their shrimp stew is delicious.

Excellent traditional jambalaya and potato salad.

Went to get some food at 6:30. The place was locked up. Lights off, chairs on the tables. Really disappointed.

I went here for lunch and was disappointed I ordered the # 2 combo it came with pastalaya, white beans and gumbo the pastalaya had 1 hole chicken thigh and 2 pieces of sausage and the gumbo had the roux and a chicken thigh that's it nothing else in it. . I was disappointed!!!

Fool me three times and I am done. Food is fair at best if you are lucky. No consistency in food taste or quality. Customer service is usually dreadful but today the menu board says one price but cashier says it’s more. When I asked what the difference I was told price increased on the first of the month but they haven’t updated the menu boards. And quote “nothing they can do about it”. I just warn the rest of the customers, find another store for your jambalaya, I know I will.
