Food was semi bland at best. I waited an hour and a half for a to go order. It came out cold. On top of that half my order was missing. Took another 20 minutes to get it. I ordered seafood gumbo and it was apparently the last of the pot, not much to it. Fried crab claws weren’t enough to feed a 5 year old. And the 1/2 pound boiled shrimp that I was so excited about receiving at the end of my stretched out wait time amounted to 7 medium shrimp. I don’t usually complain about food or leave negative reviews on any restaurant, but for the price I paid I expected a little better than subpar quality and subpar food. I am from Alabama and this was a disappointment to say the least. I am an over the road truck driver and I don’t dine out much, but I expect decent food when I do. I will say the shrimp, even though few in number and cold, did have a good flavor.
After Eating here tonight, I don’t think I’ll ever be back. I got the crawfish nachos and the sauce was burnt. We then ordered crawfish fettuccine only for it to have the same sauce that was on the crawfish nachos. The sauce was burnt, smelt burnt, tasted burnt. I was very unsatisfied with this meal. As I’ve had other meals from here before.
The atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice. Very friendly and respectable workers. We went on a Friday in lent so that means it was a packed house. The waitresses were hustling. Never did you have to ask them for anything twice. They were on top of their job. The food was fabulous. In our group we had boiled crawfish, shrimp, onions, and sausage. We had chicken tenders and shrimp poboys. Not one single complaint about the food, atmosphere or the hospitality. We will definitely be back.
Placed an order for 3lbs crawfish and 1/2 lb of shrimp after waiting for over 1 hour waitress tells me they are waiting for crawfish. Unacceptable and poor customer service.
this place was awesome. I would givin it 5 stars but my food came out cold the first time. that being said when it came out hot the second time it was well worth it.

They had a special posted today of 2 for 1 margaritas. Charged me regular price and said they made a mistake on the posting but wouldn't honor it. Instead of either refunding/serving additional drinks to cover cost. Don't leave reviews often, but it was a bit sleazy.

I would like to know , who is leaving this restaurant’ 4 stars and up , because there’s nothing
Cajun about the food here , the fish did not have a taste what sooo ever .. and there was no hospitality, just long stares , and the etofee taste like some un flavored soup and I tossed the white rice out the window . Even while waiting on my order at the bar I felt uncomfortable from the stares from the young girl and guy at the bar . Never again will I be returning ….ohh the P.O. boy had shells from the shrimp on there

Jambalaya used to be my top list for Cajun food until I tried Mimi’s Etouffee with grilled shrimp for first time. It’s totally changed my life! MUST TRYING THEIR ETOUFFEE!!! Bonus point, they’re gluten free!

We walked in at 8:20 pm tonight with closing time being 10:00 pm. We had to wait for someone to finally come seat us, ordered immediately, then had to wait 35-40 minutes for the boiled crabs and shrimp to come out. We barely started eating and the staff was already picking up chairs and turning tv’s off while they still had customers eating. ( We were not the only ones there.)They were not scheduled to close until 10:00. They turned customers away at 9:00. We come from out of town and normally enjoy ourselves eating at Cajun Claws. It’s a big treat to eat good boiled crabs. However tonight , it was hard to enjoy the food when it wasn’t seasoned like it normally is , the staff was putting chairs up on top of tables right next to us. Our waitress was polite and friendly. Some of the staff showed anger at 9:15 that there were customers still in the restaurant, even though it was 45 minutes before closing. It appeared that the staff wanted to walk out at 9:15. This is poor customer service and we may not return because of our experience tonight.

The boiled was pretty average, with no option for melted butter dip. The fish basket was a good buy ( pretty much fish & chips). The waitress, ...we just couldn't connect.
