Went to The Crawfish Hut for the first time last night. We did not go for crawfish ironically, but for their Thurday night steak night special. We were also meeting dear friends of ours who has complimented on the food to us several times. Staff were very friendly and took care of our request promptly with a smile. It is very difficult to find a place that serves a properly prepaired steak in our area as everything is focused on cajun cuisine. So when the owners parent told us about steak night we decided to give it a try. My wife is very perticuler when it comes to steak, and it is not easy finding a steak that is not seasoned or tough from improper cooking. A good steak should not need seasoning, it should stand on its proper merits and preperation. Well don't let the restraunts name fool you, this place served an awesome diner. In fact we shared one meal, and it filled both of us and she still had a bit left to bring home. Large portions, cooked to perfection and give the blueberry bread pudding a try as well. You can thank me later. Lastly, watching the majority of the house who was there for crawfish, the smiles and compliments we were hearing said it all. You need to add this place to your Go To List.
I only put 4 stars for atmosphear because they had someone playing music live. She was a bit loud for our taste and the area size of the room. Sadly we had to talk over her volumn at times. If they would bring the volumn down about 25% it would be perfect. Good Food, Music and Meeting friends in a homely welcoming environment. Perfect Combo. A++, Mr. Meche

Had the Crawdad basket(fried), with sweet potatoe fries. The plate came fill! Was fried perfectly! Really good flavor. Very satisfied! Our waitress, Mallory was serving 17 of us and did an EXCEPTIONAL JOB !!! Highly recommend!
Edit: Ordered the bread pudding with pecan praline sauce!!!!! 12/10 score!!!
