Server forgot to tell us that plates for salad were on the bar; we had to ask. Salad bar had iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, cheese, bacon bits, croutons, and dressings... very few options for a bar! We were assured that they would fix our food according to our dietary restrictions... and we had to send 2 of the 3 plates back. When the plates were finally brought, they were still missing an item and we had to go ask. We stopped here as we were passing through; we won't stop there again. We will say the buffet food looked good but we couldn't eat those foods.... and the price was not on the menu. You guessed it.. we would have had to ask!

We have been eating out in the last six days from LA, VA, GA, DC, & TN. We enjoyed the food a lot more @ Big John’s Steak & Seafood Resto. The catfish was lightly breaded and yummy. We also enjoyed the pork chop, greens and coleslaw. The price for the meal was cheap! We loved the home cooked quality of the food.

I've had a burger and I've also had the buffet and the food was great each time.
Food (burger & fries) was a little slow getting to me & not real flavorful. Waitstaff was semi friendly. Could be due to being short staffed. Dining area was clean.

One thing I can say is the place doesn't close at 10:30 it closes @9:15 so keep that in mind or that's what I was told at least. I showed up at about 8:30 and the nice lady was still willing to serve me and with a smile on her face along with great service. I ordered a 10 oz ribeye steak along with steamed veggies and hushpuppies. The food was amazing. Ribeye was cooked perfectly, veggies were steamed perfectly, & I've never tried hushpuppies but they were amazing. I spent I believe 27$ for everything which I think is very fair for the amount of food I had and the service that came along with it. Small town so if you don't live here and are driving by I would definitely stop by if you are feeling any type of hungry.

An older restaurant waitress was very nice and attentive. I like the salad bar. Got the small catfish and it sure seemed like a large order. I couldn’t eat all of it. Great place to stop and semi truck parking.
