This place has the best Mexican food and cheapest prices in the area, including Monroe/West Monroe. I am so happy to order dinner chilaquiles again after Chile Verde closed many years ago.
We stopped for dinner on the way home in Rayville to try this place as we had driven by and noticed it off and on for months.
First impression fell kind of flat. We were shown to a table and seemingly forgotten for a good ten ~ fifteen minutes. Not sure what our server was doing most of the time but there were delays.
I ordered a sandwich to try as it sounded interesting. A Tortas I believe it was called? Carne Asada Steak strips, Avocado, cheese, and lettuce...

Placed a to go order over the phone. The staff were courteous seems like they needed some help at the register checking out customers, seating customers, answering the phone etc. My order was ready for pickup and at the counter, however it took an additional 15-30 minutes of me waiting standing at the register for them to clear checks and seat ppl as they walked in and I was the only person with a Togo order. The to go order was in an aluminum to go dish which I couldn’t...
