Dots Diner - River Ridge

Amazing dining experience. Was looking for some food to eat at night, and this showed up. The service was top-notch and felt welcoming. The food was dam amazing to eat, which made me want to stuff more food inside me. Whoever was cooking back there done made some heavenly delicious soul grabbing food. Took my soul and mind to a whole place. Besides the food, the milkshakes is to die for. I felt like I was being devoured by Charlie the chocolate factory. By far delicious diner to eat at?

I usually get the Crawfish Creole Biscuit. It comes with swiss cheese, but if you don't like swiss, I recommend cheddar. They have great milkshakes too!

Wheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp at the front door and two doors. Getting my grandma's wheelchair through required some strangers standing up to allow her to pass, but it was a little more crowded than usual that day. She sat at the table comfortably and the people that got up didn't seem to mind.

I love Dots but this one is not one we'll go back to. Got grits instead of hashbrowns, then corrected, asked my server 3 times for a glass of water yet never got it. Another server asked if we needed a coffee refill all the while our server was at another table enjoying her conversation with those customers!
She got the lowest tip we've ever given (we generally tip at least 50%) and yes, we still gave one because I used to be a server so I know all tips come in handy.

Dillian made Mt grilled Catfish dinner. It was the best!!! And this is a Diner. Good prices toooo!! Our server was very attentive. Good place to eat.

What a great little diner! Delicious food (especially that hamburger poboy)! Bottled liquid butter is a new thing for me. Is it real butter?

My son and I were passing through New Orleans, and saw this interesting little restaurant and decided to drop in.
I'm glad we did!
Loved the 50s vibe with the old style tables and chairs, and the old 50s advertising signs on the wall. They even had one of those cat clocks with eyes that looked left then right as its tail wagged.
We split a cheeseburger poboy and some onion rings, it was delicious and filled both of us.
We are now planning on dropping by again in the near future!

The food was fantastic! I ordered the big dot and could only finish half of this monster burger. Every employee that we encountered had the most pleasant and energetic attitude. Definitely, highly recommended.

The roast beef po-boy was good, but the fried shrimp po-boy lacked everything. Absolutely no flavor, no spices, nothing. Just 6 fried shrimps on a plain French bread with a few pickle and tomato slices and some iceberg lettuce. Disappointing.
