Really loved how quiet it was and the food was excellent! The portions were the perfect size for adults and small kids. The sushi was so good it was gone before I could even snap a picture. Our food came out very fast and was the perfect temperature. Definitely a great value for the food you get!

I went to Taste of Tokyo, and the server took our drink order. However, we waited for a long time for her to return. I had to flag the waitress down five times before she came back to take our food order. Our main course arrived before the appetizer, and after finishing the main course, we waited for the appetizer. One of the two appetizers never arrived, so I had to request its cancellation. Additionally, the salad that was supposed to come with the main course never arrived either. To top it off, the owner was rude. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant unless you’re okay with receiving your main course before your appetizer.

I receive spoiled grilled red snappers and rice on February 18,2025. I called back and the lady at the front desk hung up on me and said she have to get back to her customer, instead of satisfying the one who just left. Will never return again to River Rige locations.. I see why it always empty when you go to that particular restaurant.

After attending Kenner's Christmas village, my husband and I wanted sushi. This place has real Wasabi, beautifully prepared sushi, kid-friendly options, and great service. It was slow at that time, probably because of the weather, but the server and the owner were super friendly and down-to-earth. It's a good, chill spot with quality food. Even our picky toddler loved it.
Kid-friendliness: The honey pecan shrimp was delicious 😋

Taste of Tokyo River Ridge used to be wonderful. The service and food used to always be great!! Since new management took over the quality of the food and service has seriously plummeted. Each time my friend and I visit the River Ridge location, our harumaki is burnt, the fried rolls are mushy and dripping with a ton of grease! The last 2 times we have ordered food from there, we have gotten food poisoning! We will never return. There are plenty of other nearby sushi places that offer great food and service WITHOUT getting sick!
