Kid-friendliness: The honey pecan shrimp was delicious 😋

The food was fresh and had a good flavor, but the rolls were not tight, so they fell apart easily. High-quality ingredients, though.

The service was excellent, and the lighting is cozy. Clean tables and silverware free of spots.

Taste of Tokyo River Ridge used to be wonderful. The service and food used to always be great!! Since new management took over the quality of the food and service has seriously plummeted. Each time my friend and I visit the River Ridge location, our harumaki is burnt, the fried rolls are mushy and dripping with a ton of grease! The last 2 times we have ordered food from there, we have gotten food poisoning! We will never return. There are plenty of other nearby sushi places that offer great food and service WITHOUT getting sick!

Quality of food has gone down while prices have gone up. Putting food on a fancier plate doesn’t account for the higher prices. Felt bad for the server, was running ragged with no other servers to help. Owners were rude. Will not return.

I wanted hibatchi but I messed up and this wasn't their scope. However this food was amazing ! Service was perfect and the price was reasonable. I over ordered and got way too much but it was so good I stuffed myself. It's gonna be a long night but I'm super glad I came here

Service was terrible. Owner was sitting at tables partaking in wine while server ran around like a chicken with her head cut off. We ordered another crab salad. That was ok. Calamari with crabmeat. The calamari was so hard and they barely had any crabmeat on the dish. We also ordered chicken katsu dinner for the kids. Also over cooked and kids could not eat the chicken. She forgot my husbands salad and rice with the walnut shrimp. It was bad.

Never again.

Called there today to order a lettuce wrap roll and the owner hung up on my daughter, I called back she sent me to voicemail, I called back agin and she hung up on me while I was talking. She is extremely rude and I will never order or eat there agin. Also this is not the first time she has been rude over the phone when I have placed an order in the past. This place is going down hill.

Small local place that has unfortunately down hill. Portion have gotten smaller and that is the sign of the times. But in addition to it seafood freshness has suffered. My advice of you go don't go for sushi unless cooked unless you have time to be in the bathroom. And don't bother ordering ahead. They won't start the order until you are on site.There are better options.Should have known when I saw the gaudy new singage outside advertising all the specials they have gotten desperate. Fool me once

i had the most horrifying customer service experience in this restaurant last night.i would give it 0 stars if i could. i have been a long time customer of this establishment. i know multiple people that have worked here, including my sister at one point, since i have lived in river ridge my whole life. i was given a full sashimi order that i did not want when i asked for crab stick sushi. lily, joes wife, harassed me about how yes i in fact DID order that, and instead of just switching out my meal for something i wanted as a paying customer; she argued with me and then proceeded to get her husband joe to come up with me and argue with me. i told him to stop holding me hostage, give me the bill and let me go. i was done arguing over just trying to get the plate of food i did not even touch off my ticket and decided to take the loss. he then got in my face, screamed across the room at me, and threatened me in front of a dining room full of people. i have worked in customer service for years and currently do, i have NEVER experienced a business owner that lives on such a disgusting power trip. this place needs to be shut down as soon as possible.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR ONE! For 2 $14 for a diy smore kit ! 1 graham cracker a person . Crazy then the owner was yelling at us and said your order you buy! NEVER EVER COMING HERE EVER AGAIN!!!! HOW CAN 2 people eat off of this order. Please explain !!!!!
