Small local place that has unfortunately down hill. Portion have gotten smaller and that is the sign of the times. But in addition to it seafood freshness has suffered. My advice of you go don't go for sushi unless cooked unless you have time to be in the bathroom. And don't bother ordering ahead. They won't start the order until you are on site.There are better options.Should have known when I saw the gaudy new singage outside advertising all the specials they have gotten desperate. Fool me once

i had the most horrifying customer service experience in this restaurant last night.i would give it 0 stars if i could. i have been a long time customer of this establishment. i know multiple people that have worked here, including my sister at one point, since i have lived in river ridge my whole life. i was given a full sashimi order that i did not want when i asked for crab stick sushi. lily, joes wife, harassed me about how yes i in fact DID order that, and instead of just switching out my meal for something i wanted as a paying customer; she argued with me and then proceeded to get her husband joe to come up with me and argue with me. i told him to stop holding me hostage, give me the bill and let me go. i was done arguing over just trying to get the plate of food i did not even touch off my ticket and decided to take the loss. he then got in my face, screamed across the room at me, and threatened me in front of a dining room full of people. i have worked in customer service for years and currently do, i have NEVER experienced a business owner that lives on such a disgusting power trip. this place needs to be shut down as soon as possible.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR ONE! For 2 $14 for a diy smore kit ! 1 graham cracker a person . Crazy then the owner was yelling at us and said your order you buy! NEVER EVER COMING HERE EVER AGAIN!!!! HOW CAN 2 people eat off of this order. Please explain !!!!!

The server was amazing but the owner does not allow the server to do her job without interrupting her. The owner makes the experience very uncomfortable and no desire to return. The complimentary soup with the noodles is the only thing my daughter eats there. So every time we go she charges me extra for the noodles and if my child asks for more noodles. She makes sure to tell me it is an extra charge. I have no issue paying extra for the complimentary noodles. Mind u we had six people at the table and one complimentary soup. Owner is rude reaching over the server while trying to split the check. She doesn’t say excuse me. Very very unpleasant. Explains why it does not get packed like it used to.

Order takeout, menu said meal came with salad but when I got home no salad, called the restaurant and they said it doesn't come with salad, maybe they should change the menu. And the food didn't taste fresh, couldn't eat the Tuna rolls, very disappointed, will not be eating from there again ?

Very small portions! Had to ask for salad that came with meal... ordered Toro... worst I've erver tried 17.99 for 2pcs looked ansmd taste lije it was tawed under warm water just tasted old and off. I will not be back! OVER $50 For not good! That was one person!

Full disclosure, I have gotten takeout here many times but never sat down. With that said, the sushi here is very good, but the special rolls are pretty pricey. At places like Kyoto 2, a special roll is the same price, but the roll is about 3 times the size.The sushi, as said, was very tasty but nothing extraordinary from other great sushi places in the area.This rating would have been a 4 if not for my latest takeout.-The noodle salad is something very lack luster. They put it in a normal clamshell so the liquid in it spills EVERYWHERE. The noodles themselves are sweet, which I do not care for, but I won't fault on a preference.-The service was middling. The lady was nice enough, but I paid for 7 whole sushi rolls with a bill price of almost $80, and when I asked for Spicy Mayo, she said she can only give me 1 tiny quarter ounce container. Really? Only 1? For 7 entire sushi rolls? But if it was 7 people ordering 1 roll each, each one could have got one themselves. That's absolutely ridiculous.

The lady in charge was so rude!! Not just to us but also to the only server she had working the floor. Watching her berate him while SHE screwed up our order TWICE is why I won't be back. It's a pity bc the food is good.

This was 26 bucks, i rest my case. This place is ridiculously over priced, never going here again and to think the lady told me even after i asked how big the rolls were she told me medium, if these are medium i hate to see small must just be a single bite. I hope people stop supporting this rip off. Go down the rd to sake cafe in elmwood at least u wont leave there feeling ripped off completely
