Had the chance to experience an awesome BBQ plate from BIG JAKE'S BBQ!
Was working traveling to Saint Gabriel, La in the Big Rig delivering a load and after leaving the refinery saw a sign that said BBQ 2 blocks down on the right. It was the best 2 blocks down on the right decision I made on today!
If you are ever in the area stop by BIG JAKE'S BBQ the food is delicious, potato salad so good and brisket so tender and seasoned!

I got the chopped brisket sandwich with 2 sides($17.50 - a little steep).
The meat was perfectly cooked in my opinion. The bread was carefully detailed with a great consistency. I was disappointed that they were out of baked beans. They saved themselves with their potato salad. AMAZING. Customer service was great and the atmosphere...
