I worked at this restaurant as a waitress when I was 27 years old. It was my 1st job of this type. I had recently gotten out of an abusive marriage. I was very green then. My first 2 weeks my manager stole all of my credit card tips. Told me I was in a probationary period and wasn't allowed to have them. I had children soon after and never really worked again. I know better now but this really shaped my view of people especially in a work environment. I would never recommend anyone to ever eat here or work here. Almost 20 years later and it has still affected me.

Got raw fish fillets.. if you are brown stay away from this diarrhea place. Got charged 20 when I singed for was 16.. so self tip included.. (update : got the money refunded. Please be careful and watch where you eat.)

Ordered Grilled Fish platter... Menu states "8 strips fried or grilled - $14.⁹⁹"...There were ONLY 2 SHORT, SMALL, THIN fillets...??♂️!?! while the table next to me that ordered a fried fish plate got a PILE of fish! ?....??!?It was NOT $15/worth of grilled fish on my order! ??Also, someone, please explain, why ANY restaurant INSIDE Louisiana AND South of I-10 doesn't have catfish on the menu???????(⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for the friendly Waitstaff! ??)

These people were great during the gasoline shortage just after Hurricane Ida. They tried to keep the fuel lines moving along, as well as keeping traffic from obstructing highway 30.

I went there recently with my husband the casino was extremely clean and well lit and smelled nice. I’ve been to other truckstop casinos and I was sincerely surprised on how nice everything was and how well everything was being run. Felt very safe and spent lots of money and will definitely be back. There was also a guy who escorted us to our machines and out the door and made sure that we were exactly where we were supposed to be he did a great job.
