Y’all! Just had the Sunday lunch special for St. Patrick’s Day—cabbage rolls, potatoes, stewed cabbage, roll and cake. Delicious! The cabbage rolls are just like we used to make. Highly recommend.

If you haven't had a Bruin Burger with onion rings you are missing a great treat. Derek and Nina do a great job.
Kid-friendliness: I took my Granddaughter there. She got a pizza and we watched the MS State football game . She is 10 and had a great time hanging out with her granddad. She said pizza was really good.
This place used to be fantastic. The new ownership is failing spectacularly. The server we had today chose to be nearly mute. The onion rings used to come with about double the onion rings and a remoulade dipping sauce. We asked the server if they had sauce available and the server gave a short grunt-sentence in the negative. We were one of two groups in the restaurant and the burgers and sandwiches took 20 minutes to arrive after the onion rings. Give me a break. If you remember the version of Fish Tales from 2019/2020 and you go here expecting the same, you will be sorely disappointed. Fish Tales is a prime candidate for the show Restaurant Impossible. Oh, here’s a picture of the poor excuse for onion rings we got for $9.00.
