For those that can or do eat cheese, they also have a pimento cheese dip that is awesome.

The Philly Cheesesteak Po'Boy with Mac & Cheese satisfied a very hungry husband! 😋 Wonderful flavors and filling portions. Learned that the breads, sauces, and desserts are made fresh daily. A jewel in St. Joseph, Tensas parish! Well worth the drive from Ouachita parish!

I fell for this spot from the moment that I entered. The kitchen staff were hopping and producing excellent scents. The tastes blew my mind. The Walking Pig is worth a drive.
Very friendly welcome and service! Crab cakes were very tasty and I enjoyed the Broccoli Salad. The side salad I chose was okay. Wish I’d chosen the vinaigrette as the green goddess was just okay for me. Two of our group ordered the smoked brisket. Tasty and tender, but no smoke flavor or appearance whatsoever. Others really enjoyed the fries! Didn’t try any dessert, but they had an interesting selection. We were told everything is house made. Nice place!!
