I'm familiar with this place, but in my 5 years living right down the street, I've never seen it open, it definitely isn't a restaurant any longer. I believe it is one of many "event" places of the many in this little town. I suggest either "Saint John Restaurant", a coupe blocks to the East, or "Kajun King" across from the big Church on the next block SouthEast. Rick .

The food was just like my grandmother's traditional cooking. The okra was perfect, no slim nor slimmy onions, cooked to perfection. The jambalaya was awesome. The red beans, sausage and rice was homemade. I'd utilize them to cater any event!

What this place lacks in atmosphere it makes up for with good food and service. I had the pork chop lunch with red beans, just like Momma made. My wife had a roasted Turkey wing stuffed with garlic dressing, she loved it. If you like home style cooking and fast, friendly service, you gotta try Clambeaugh's for lunch.
