Nice, old style building. Reminds me of NOLA establishments. Service was OK. Food was good, however way too salty. Both my steak and fries were difficult to eat without drowning them in catsup to cut down on the salt content.

Great place with great service, they also have video poker machines that are fun to play
Amazing place and amazing service, fun video poker machines
We visited on a Friday about 5pm. Thank heaven we got there when we did, there were only 2 tables available. It's a night that crawfish was served for $10/pound. They were the biggest crawfish we'd ever had! Musicians were setting up in the front corner of the dining area. They were all very jovial and knew many of the customers. We'd obviously stumbled on a favorite of the locals.
Had supper there with friends and played bingo. Food was good and great atmosphere.
Fancy restaurant prices but definitely not a fancy restaurant. Service was horrible. Food was decent at best.
Really nice place, even though there is nothing fancy about it. Just good food with good service at a fair price.
Great ribeye, fresh crisp salad. Great service and atmosphere
First of all, the owner and staff were most gracious and enjoyable hosts. Lots of locals sharing good food and good friendship, which was a reliable sign. The menu was ample and authentic. The gumbo roux was very dark, to my absolute enjoyment, and contained ample seafood. The fried okra was equally yummy. Good choice in beers. Live music was happening that afternoon. It was a completely satisfying and enjoyable trip back down into the country that I savor.

Great place. Old fashioned atmosphere. Good food
Went to this restaurant after my uncles funeral to have lunch before we drove back to Houston. The food and service were okay but I had had hair fried into my fried oysters. I brought it up to my server and she took the food back but didn't offer another order or take it off of the tab. Once we got home to Houston we saw that we were super overcharged then the charge was reversed then charged again still overcharged a bit. No one answered the phone so we have been unable to resolve this issue.
We liked the pineapple burger, chicken strips are always great, I've enjoyed the stakes
Friends from high school visited this establishment for dinner and drinks to discuss our upcoming reunion. We were disappointed with the food. I would not recommend.
Friendly/family atmosphere! Great service! Delicious food, adult beverages & local live music Thursday thru Saturday. Also has a very nice patio for live music during cooler weather.
