Stopped here at a friend's recommendation. We were pleasantly surprised. Wonderful selection of local meats, particularly the best Boudin Balls and Cracklin's we've ever tasted! Pretty much a market for everything you'll need for Cajun style cooking.

Great food. Prepared well. Sauce available. Sunday brisket dinner option enough for 2 people.

The boudin is fresh and meaty. The Chicken crackling is awesome. The fried boudin balls are so good. I drive 30 minute in the opposite direction every time I go to New Orleans.

Homey and welcoming. Louisiana specialty foods and you can buy seasonings and gifts too! Try the chicken crackling or one of the 3 types of boudan... it's a busy place for a good reason

The food was worth the trip!! This spot has officially earned a permanent place on our driving to NOLA itinerary. While the inside of store itself is pretty barebones—no music, no frills, just a straightforward setup—the flavors more than make up for it. Although I think they did a great job with the eye-catching exterior.

We tried both types of cracklings, sampled several varieties of Boudain, and picked up a stuffed chicken to take home. Every bite delivered on the hype. The cracklings were perfectly crisp and seasoned, and the Boudain had that rich, savory depth that’s hard to find outside Louisiana.

Service-wise, the cashier wasn’t exactly warm—seemed to be having a day—but honestly, the food speaks louder than any mood. If you’re chasing authentic Cajun goodness, this is the place. It’s all about what’s coming out of the kitchen.
