We stopped in on our was from Texas to Alabama. The store was great! Clean, well organized, items not found just anywhere.
I stopped specifically for the pork cracklins. While the flavor was good, not overly spiced, they were fried extra hard, to the point I thought they would break my teeth.
I'm definitely going to give them another chance, hoping this was an unusual occurrence. I also want to try the chicken cracklins.

I’m writing to express my disappointment with our experience this evening at your establishment. On our way to Baton Rouge, we stopped by about 25 minutes before closing, as we often do when we’re in town. After purchasing some boudin and snacks, I attempted to use the restroom before getting back on the road.
However, the young woman cleaning the restrooms seemed irritated that I was trying to use the facilities. She informed me that she had already cleaned the women’s restroom and refused to let me in, suggesting I wait for the men’s restroom instead. Her attitude and lack of customer service were surprising and disappointing, especially considering how much we’ve enjoyed stopping here in the past and they were still open for business.

Friendly staff. Boudain balls with cheese are great! Cracklings (fried fat) is over $21 per pound! Didn't buy any.
