Ate here every morning while working in the area. After I discovered them, made me wish for a similar place to eat back. 100/10 would recomend.

This is the cutest little breakfast place in Scott! Train themed decor everywhere, a little choo choose bell every time and order is up, a lot of food options at really good prices. My husband and I ordered a few things and shared. The pancakes were huge! The beignets were awesome. My only MINOR preference complaint is the grits and eggs didn't have any season on them. This could be great for those watching calories, cholesterol, or sodium though. We added salt and pepper, but I would have liked real butter for the grits instead of vegetable oil spread, that adds no flavor for me. The bacon was the BEST, sausage was good, and we loved the chopped up sausage in the white gravy. The frozen coffee was really good as well!

Found a little gem recommended by our cousin months ago. I am sure other reviews have said it as well that it is a very charming little place, with super cute décor. People are really nice, and food is excellent! Beignets are not tiny in portion, so an order is probably enough for 4-5 people. The espresso they serve are so pretty as well, maybe a bit weak but tasted amazing at least. Our only regret was that we only had the Boxcar Breakfast and beignets. Grits with boudin was awesome by the way :) We would definitely like to try everything else on the breakfast menu, and their lunch menu.

Food was fine, drinks from the barristas were great, but the server with the bright orange short hair was awful. Her treatment of staff right in front of everyone in the restaurant was deplorable. She screamed at the two young people making coffee where we could hear it. At one point she went behind the counter herself to make drinks and was slamming things around. I felt terrible for her coworkers. No one deserves to be treated this way. Sadly this is the second time I have seen that server speaking badly to coworkers. She didn't have orange hair then, but I am sure it was her. At the time we asked our server her name and her name is Emma. I am posting now because clearly no one told anyone in management of her behavior. When we go back, if we see her there again we are leaving (after giving all of her coworkers a much needed warm hug?

Cute restaurant in an old train depot. You can hear the trains coming through on the tracks outside while you are eating. We had a long wait for a table on a Saturday morning but once seated the service was excellent. Delicious food and coffee drinks. I had the bacon croissant and my son had the waffles and bacon. Everything was so delicious. We also had the beignets which were served hot and fresh. Definitely would recommend for a delicious breakfast!

Came in for coffee two mornings in a row. It was great! Loved the space, too, it looks like it’s been refurbished and reclaimed wood used to build. The old fashioned things around were really fun, too. Ordered the beignets one day and they were huge and amazing!

The asthetic is cute and I love how they blow the train whistle when the food is ready, but ultimately it’s all about the food. The breakfast was pretty good, but nothing I couldn’t make myself at home. We both enjoyed our coffees.

If you are in Scott LA or on I 10 going by it STOP! Its amazing adorable and gives u an authentic taste of new orleans. 6 large Beignets and largeChickory coffee for under 12 bucks in an adorable setting of an old rail depot (thus the name). They have a decent size menu as well lots more than beignets. This place made my morning! What a great find along us I10.

I always want to try this place, it’s very cool that was a train house long time ago (never ask about this place history) but outside is a small train wagon with table and asked if we can take our breakfast/brunch there and they say yes we can so was very cool eating there. Food was okay and the beignets were great.
