I ordered shrimp cocktail as an appetizer and I received 4 shrimps for $22.95. There was a foul smell when the shrimps were brought to the table. I took a small bite and we sent them back and had the order removed from our ticket. The entrée was delicious. I got home and began throwing up profusely everywhere. I'm uncertain if it was the small bite of shrimp or if the shrimp and crab meat in my entrée was bad. The atmosphere was nice, but I will not return.
I visited for the 1st time, approximately, 2 weeks ago. I loved the atmosphere and the waitress was on point. The food was good. This is a great restaurant and I can’t believe I had never been there. Will be making frequent visits.
I am from out of town and a local recommended Anthony’s for our business dinner. The decor is nostalgic but clean and well maintained. I do not recall our waitress’s name, but she was great. She provided excellent food recommendations, attentive service and was a pleasure to talk to. My vodka martini was perfect. The wine list runs the gamut from affordable to nice bottles. Order the marinaded crab claws - the best I have eaten. Use the bread to sop up the remaining marinade....
