I went in late on a sunday (after 10p)
The place wasn't packed but had a decent amount of people. The bartender was friendly and quick with service. The brisket mac and cheese was pretty delicious.

Arrived here this evening for a planned event. I could see that the bar was busy so I patiently waited my turn at the end of the bar. The bartenders made no attempt to acknowledge me. The bartender Ria approached the gentleman right next to me, still refusing to look up at me, and asked him if he wanted another beer. He said that he did, but pointed me out and Ria acted like she had been slapped as he explained that I had been waiting longer than he had. I ordered a daiquiri from the machine right behind her with an extra shot. She said okay but then walked back down to the other end of the bar. I waited again and was ignored for a few more minutes before I sat back down with my friend group. I left after 20 minutes with all the tip money I didn't get to share.

just a nomad biker passing through. Not my vibe, but a lively place and I was well received. I don't know my young little bartenders name, but she was special, dialed in, highly intelligent.

My absolutely favorite bar in the shreveport-bossier area. The only bar i feel comfortable going alone, such a comforting energy this place holds. Best bartenders in town, always wiling to make accommodations and suggesting wonderful beverages. Great food, shows, local art, and community 🤍

I absolutely love this place. The food is phenomenal (Brisket Mac is my suggestion) and the Key lime pie is to die for. the staff are great, and as a single woman, I have always felt safe. What do for the community and local bands is amazing as well as bringing other entertainment from out of state is top notch. To show of how much I love this place, every year they have Bears Fest and I travel across the country just for this event.

Searching for a dog friendly restaurant near me produced Bears. This is a sweet spot in Highland.
Ironically our dog’s name are Bear & Miss Penny and they loved it too.
Hailey & Lisa made our visit memorable and everyone that walked by stopped to pet the pups.
The pulled pork and onion rings were over the top. Hailey’s KeyLime pie was divine. Will definitely be back

Live music nights…if you get there late, like I did 25 minutes before band was done, you will still pay full cover charge. I am a steady customer but they would not let me in without paying 15.00 cover charge. I was very surprised. I left and said it’s been good. I won’t go back. I was with 3 people who all wanted to enjoy drinks..maybe would have spent at least 100.00 but they wanted the 15.00 cover. Not a smart business move. Been nice.
