The waitstaff here have The God Complex and I would rate them at a -2 Stars if that were possible. BUT the owner/manager is a very nice, hard-working man who has an excellent menu that tastes delicious, put together in a cozy atmosphere. I'll give 3 Stars until he can hire better qualified waitstaff. The female bartender is also very pleasant.

I'm excited to see the renovation after this spot has its grand reopening! I enjoyed the spot before, although I felt like it lacked insta-appeal. Being not very photogenic. And the drive is a trek for me. The food was fantastic. The portions were appropriate. And the price was right. Service was adequate. The food was both yummy and pretty. It's happy hour prices are (were) decent for a food serving establishment. I will DEFINITELY be going to check out the remodel when it reopens!!!

Great food, and you will usually find the owners there - fantastic folks. Diamond in the rough.

Service: 0 stars. Came in on Sunday and waited over 20 minutes for the server to take our order. Other diners came and left. We had to ask for our order to be taken. Drinks came in dirty glasses with lettuce baked on. When we asked for new glasses, it took our server 20 minutes to get clean glasses. After 35 minutes, no sign of food or table service. Owner/bar tender sits down at the table with diners who are his friends and completely ignores our lack of service. Our server never returns to refill drinks. If she was overwhelmed, her Manager could have stepped in. Attached a photo of the Manager hanging out at the table next to us. Food: The burgers we ordered came 45 mins after we sat down. While the food was good, it was not worth the wait and poor service. Skip this place and go elsewhere!

I'm in Shreveport for the first time and was enticed by this restaurant via the photos they have of their delicious cuisine on their FB page. This spot is beyond amazing, I've only just had the lump crab salad with avocado, sriracha and crostini and I'm so impressed I had to write review before I sampled anything further. Huge lumps of crab, very filling... I will be back again and again! Beyond excellent!!

4 Stars is just about right for Bella Fresca Bistro! The service from the waiter was friendly and cordial. That alone goes a long way now a days. If you want a small restaurant that is away from the hustle and bustle of Youree Dr and Airline Dr, then this place hits the spot. The food was on the better side of average but falls a tad short of its presentation.

Extremely disappointed. We love the Thai Calamari at Bella Fresca on Line Ave. We were excited to see it on the menu at the Bistro. We ordered it and it was burned. Also ordered the shrimp and angel hair pasta and rainbow trout. There were four over cooked shrimp and the trout wasn't that great. We told the waitress that the calamari was burned. She could clearly see the dark brown charred food on the plate. She said that she would talk to the chef and "they were going to check the temperature." That is fine and well for other customers but it didn't help us. We ate a small portion of it but they were glad to charge us the full price for that garbage. Needless to say, we will continue to dine at Line Ave. location but will pass on the Bistro. The place was empty and the service was still lacking.

Amazing wine selection. I've looked and looked all over this city and I can't find a better place to relax and drink good wine with a pleasant atmosphere

The food is always fresh and the drinks are always good. The fresh salad with steak for lunch is the best in town. Happy hour's truffle fries are not to be missed. Much better than Wine Country.

I ordered the bacon mac n cheese. The menu touted baked macaroni and cheese with bacon, baked with a breadcrumb topping. There was a serious lack of bacon, no breadcrumbs, no flavor, but plenty of oil. When I reheated the macaroni at home to add my own bacon, there was more oil in the pasta than in the bacon pan. Also the waiter gave us a wine list and commented, "I don't know if you're that fancy." I more than likely won't go back.

I went for lunch with my friends on Thursday and there was only us and another table there. It's a cute and small bistro. I could probably guess that it gets really busy on Sunday's during brunch. I ordered the Grilled Chicken & Bacon sandwich and it was super delicious.
