Buttercups Cupcakes

Mostly everything is great! I have always loved anything I’ve gotten a preordered. The macarons are fabulous. This may have been a one off things, but today when I got some fruity pebble macarons (usually my fav) they were not near as good. I’m not sure if they were left out over night or they got a new baker but the texture was just very very odd and the filling was hard slightly like biting through a thin layer of chocolate.

Overall everything I’ve had is great other than this one time. I’d recommend giving it a visit, maybe just pre order the macarons so they are more fresh texture wise. The staff is also always sweet!

Wow! I am extremely impressed with their cupcakes. I tried two different flavors of the cupcakes that were vegan and gluten-free and they both were delicious. You never know what you were gonna get with the combo of those two things, but they were so moist, dense, and sweet! We will definitely be coming back and recommending to all of our friends. :) Thank you for making vegan options.

I purchased a king cake today from Buttercups located at Silver Star in Bossier City. I normally love their cupcakes but the king cake was terribly dry, even after warming it up. It was such a let down especially considering it was $29 plus tax. I would not recommend buying theirs. I think this is new for them. I would suggest going with a bakery that is tried and true for king cakes. I think they should stick with cupcakes.

I live an hour and a half away from Shreveport, and the last two times I've purchased macaroons, they were not edible. Given the price you charge for these treats, I expect them to be fresh and delicious. I'm not sure if you're using a new supplier, but I strongly recommend you look into changing it as soon as possible before you start losing customers.

The girl in the front was very nice and the cup cakes are delicious… they are big and enough to fill you up in my opinion but definitely will be back to try more

The girl was really friendly, but the cupcakes were so dry. We bought 6 different ones and all were dry and not fresh. For the price, I expect better.

they girl told me to get a s’mores cupcake because there was a toasted marshmallow on top. when i took a bite there was no marshmallow in the entire cupcake. the cupcake had a terribly strong taste of pickle. NASTY!

This place is amazing if you want cupcakes. This is the place to go. I've tried other bakery and Cupcakes, but this tops them all. You will not be disappointed.

The cupcakes are delicious but unfortunately they usually only have one flavor of vegan cupcakes.

Pretty cake but not worth $150. Felt like my fiance was taken advantage of because he doesn’t work in the industry but every other advanced baker I’ve talked to since has quoted this cake at $100 max, especially considering the reference picture was much more complex so he was expecting something to that level.

Was so hilarious when we showed up at 7. I understand you close at that time. However, you ran to lock the door after we locked eyes. Could’ve just let me know you weren’t open!
