I just happened to be in the area and decided to check out this spot. When I walked in, it was a little awkward. The hostess and manager just looked at me. No greeting or anything, so I proceeded to ask for a table. When the waitress came up…again…no greeting…no name, so I went on with my order. She came back and sat my drink down way on the other side of the table without a straw, so I flagged her down to get a straw. Then one of the servers brought out the chips…nothing said. I ordered the skirt beef fajitas. They were mediocre…the char grilled beef kind of tasted burned. The service was quick! The environment was somber. This place could use a little customer service and etiquette. I thought it would be up to par since it was in the little Beverly Hills square of Shreveport. The mirror behind the bar is enormous, but could use a little cleaning. It serves as the focal point of the restaurant, so the last thing you want it to be is dirty.

The last time we ate there, the meat in the steak burrito had a lot of gristle in it.

This place used to be great, should have known when walked in and they don’t have liquor anymore. Gave them a chance with food and it was trash. The rice was hard and dry. The quacamole came out brown. The fajitas was tough and dry. The quality would be better at Taco Bell. What a horrible slide in quality and service. Avoid.
We have always enjoyed the food and drinks. This last time (1-8-24) not so much. We arrived about 2:30pm. Hostess was very friendly and seated us immediately… only 1 other table seated. Waiter came over after a few minutes to take drink orders…. This is when we found out “Bar Closed” due to liquor license expired.. wish we would have been told before we were seated. We stayed anyway because food has always been good and it was this time as well… only service was lacking… again only 1 table besides us and we were party of 2 just like the other table. Drinks ( coke & tea) never were refilled. we ate and left. I dont see us going back.

I've always enjoyed this Tex Mex place. But my most recent visits have left me frustrated. The atmosphere is that of an Elk's lodge. The menu did not get me excited at all. My wife and I were hard-pressed to decide on something that sounded appetizing. That said the dishes we ate were tasty and nicely prepared. I'm still bitter that they got rid of the warm salsa. The bright spot was the easiest, Bo. He was very courteous and provided great service.

We ordered brunch and the food was nicely presented but it left me hungry since the potatoes were very spicy and the omelette I ordered was thin with a salad wrapped in it:) It came with a mimosa which was nice and tasted fine. The problem all around was we received less than good service. I'm sure all the servers may not be bad and maybe this guy just had a hangover this Sunday morning, but our large party suffered all around, start to finish.A small party on any other day may have no problems.
Came here because of the Veterans Day ad I saw on Facebook. Free entre with chips and salsa was the deal of the day! Neici was extremely kind and helpful. Food was of the highest quality. I am definitely coming back and bringing friends!!

Well, we go there periodically cause the food is excellent and the service is great. We had Danielle as our server the past 3 times. She is always smiling and she enjoys her job. She knows just how to interact with her customers to make it a pleasant place and atmosphere to dine in. .

Website states quesadillas are $15.75. Ordered through DoorDash and paid $21.49. Portion still the same, upcharge in price. DoorDash states merchants set their prices. I could understand $1-$2 more to cover delivery app costs, but a nearly $6 increase? Cantina Laredo has great food & great service.....but I don't like feeling like I'm getting ripped off.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cantina Laredo, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. This upscale Mexican restaurant exceeded my expectations in both food and service.Upon entering Cantina Laredo, the ambiance immediately sets the stage for an elegant dining experience. The restaurant is perfect for a romantic evening or a celebratory meal, the restaurant's ambiance is perfect. Now, onto the food. We started with the Queso Laredo, which was a real treat and plenty for the whole table. It had a rich flavor and came out promptly. It paired well with the salsa. For my main course, I chose the steak nachos, and they were nothing short of spectacular. The portion was huge (picture attached). It was large enough two of us shared the entree and still had food leftover. The service at Cantina Laredo was another highlight of the evening. The waiter, Drew, was attentive without being intrusive, our drinks were never empty, and the dishes arrived promptly, beautifully presented and piping hot.To cap off the evening, we indulged in the Tres Chocolate Brownie for dessert, and it was the perfect sweet ending to an outstanding meal. The presentation of the brownie was something you really have to see.The whole meal, which was an appetizer, entrée, two desserts, came in at around $40, which I felt like was an exceptional deal for upsale eating. By the way, they have a special on Tuesday's, I think it's $3 tacos with a drink, if you're looking for an exceptional deal.

One of our 2 favorite places to eat at in Shreveport. Almost too easy to overeat and drink. I had the grilled peach Margarita and the Carnitas Bowl. Stuffed.
