I just happened to be in the area and decided to check out this spot. When I walked in, it was a little awkward. The hostess and manager just looked at me. No greeting or anything, so I proceeded to ask for a table. When the waitress came up…again…no greeting…no name, so I went on with my order. She came back and sat my drink down way on the other side of the table without a straw, so I flagged her down to get a straw. Then one of the servers brought out the chips…nothing...
I've always enjoyed this Tex Mex place. But my most recent visits have left me frustrated. The atmosphere is that of an Elk's lodge. The menu did not get me excited at all. My wife and I were hard-pressed to decide on something that sounded appetizing. That said the dishes we ate were tasty and nicely prepared. I'm still bitter that they got rid of the warm salsa. The bright spot was the easiest, Bo. He was very courteous and provided great service.
We ordered brunch and the food was nicely presented but it left me hungry since the potatoes were very spicy and the omelette I ordered was thin with a salad wrapped in it:) It came with a mimosa which was nice and tasted fine.The problem all around was we received less than good service. I'm sure all the servers may not be bad and maybe this guy just had a hangover this Sunday morning, but our large party suffered all around, start to finish.A small party on any other day...
