This was our 1st time hearing of Chiick o' Fish and it was wonderful!! We're from Dallas, TX and wanted somewhere good to eat so our Goddaughter, who lives in Shreveport, told us we should try it. The food is gross and the fish isn't USA grain fed blue channel catfish, it is Mekong Swai a filthy Vietnamese catfish that is raised in huge pens and fed night soil. The same cheap fish served at Sam's Southern Eatery. The sides suck like a Hoover, green beans unseasoned straight out of the can. Red Beans and Rice dumped out of a plastic bag from U.S. Foods the only vendor Chick O' Fish and Sam's Southern Eatery buy from.
Fish and shrimp are ALWAYS phenomenal. But... the chicken is ALWAYS overcooked and dry. My only complaint is really about their chicken and the fact that they NEVER have macaroni and cheese anymore. Their portions are good, their prices are reasonable and the taste of the fish and shrimp is great. Rolls are a touch greasy but the flavor is amazing.
