I went through the drive through. They asked me to park in one of the parking spaces near the curb. I parked in the 3rd spot. I waited for 25 minutes. I finally went back through the drive through and asked how much longer it would be. He told me they couldn't find me. I told him I had been parked in the 3rd spot the entire time. He said "You didn't park in the handicapped spot?"For one thing he never mentioned the handicapped spot. For another thing handicap spots are not meant for drive through waiting!!! ? My food was cold and had excessive tough breading. I threw it in the garbage.

Ok...Soo ALL the Chicken Express's are NOT...the same. You have to make sure you tell them..."I will wait for my food, make sure it freshly out the grease" Because at this one, and I have been more than 3 times, the food is soggy and not fresh.It always taste like it's been sitting there for awhile.No there is one this is consistent, GUYS...it's in Magnolia, Arkansas. I know it's a drive but we lived in Springhill Louisiana. So it wasn't far.Everytime we went EVERYTHING, was fresh and hot.I will still go back to the one in Shreveport, but I would have to put in a little work. By telling them I will wait for hot food.

Do yourself favor and just go across the street to Southern Classic Chicken. There is a reason they have a line and this place does not.Horrible Customer ServiceNEVER AGAIN WILL I COME HERE.Order the 12 piece with 2 sides plus an extra side. There was no line, and it took roughly ten minutes to get the giant food bag and so i assumed it was all in there as they girl at the window said it was. Drove the 15 minutes home only to arrive and find out, they never gave me the fries that cost almost 6 dollars. Then, when I called (3) times, it was sent to voice mail each time after the second ring. And the voicemail is full, so you could not leave one.So, while my family ate before the food got cold, i had to drive the 15 minutes back to get these $6 fries. When I asked how they planned on making it right, they gave me the missing fries that were now cold. And when I ask about giving me the 2pc dark meal (a $ 5 meal) so I could eat right now to compensate for my time (45 minutes total) and travel and because now when I get home all the food would be cold they said no.Updated to review the food.Chicken was bland and did not seem like there was any seasoning in the coating. It's not very crispy either, but that could be due to not being ate in the first 45 minutes.Mash potatoes were eatable. But who serves white sausage gravy with mashed potatoes and without the sausage in the gravy, Noone at all. Brown gravy goes with mash potatoes.Fries were cold, but they were fries, so not much to say.Fried okra as much as I would like to complain I can't. The breading was still crispy, and they were still good even cold.Yeast Rolls well again. I would like to complain, but they were good. But it's kind of hard to mess up a dinner roll.1 star for service (-1 if possible)1 star for atmosphere. parking lot need attention2 star for food but only because of the fried Okra and dinner rolls.

Chicken was pretty good. Great customer service. Interaction with the reps was awesome! Restroom was clean. Just make sure that your fish is not old or cooked too long.

After a good experience at a Chicken Express in Arlington, TX I was anxious to try the one in Shreveport, LA even though I had a lot of bad reviews. So on 10/19/23, with fingers crossed, myself and two friends went to the Chicken Express on Mansfield Rd Shreveport, LA to dine inside for dinner, we were not disappointed. We all three ordered liver dinners and they were perfect. We were the only customers in the dining room but the drive thru was a steady line of cars, it was 5pm. When I ordered I could see a pan of livers sitting under the heat lamp so I told the young lady at the register that we would like fresh cooked livers (livers have to be fresh cooked and cannot set under a heat lamp or they will become hard and unfit to eat) so after we sat down she came to our table a said the cook was dropping a fresh basket of livers for our orders. When the orders arrived at the table they were perfect, crispy batter and soft and melt in your mouth on the inside, PERFECT !!! Staff was friendly and very helpful. So if you want good chicken or livers go inside and be willing to wait a few extra minutes to get fresh cooked and be courteous to the staff and they will be more willing to do what you want. We will be back.....

My family and I Ayer take out today. It was the best Chicken I have EVER eaten. I use to go to the bossier restaurant. And when they opened Shreveport restaurant I go all the time. Food is always so delicious. Food is so high now. I sure feel like I have gotten my moneys worth. I have never had such great service. Thank you Chicken Express. The order taker was not the problem but everything else this day was. I usually don't even do these but my chicken was raw and I was just letting Heather, Mgr said name at the time and know she became defensive was very rude and placed music playing not even asking me to hold. Never have I had ever from said management.

I live 30 miles from this restaurant. Usually I check my order before leaving the drive through, but I was too tired. I paid $11.83 for two fish fillets that were too hard to eat. I figured the fish was not freshly fried as I tried to eat it at home. I assure you I will not purchase this from Chicken Xpress again. I was disappointed with myself and the food!

You try to give this place a shot because of the terrible line at Classic.. but they fail. The only thing good about this place is the rolls. There is a reason.. never a line. Might as well just shut that place down. Only owners can do refunds... when they screw your order up. Ignorance at best!!

Went thru the drive thru on today. Food would have been good but it was cold. We all know how good taste when it has sat under the heating lamp. Paid $17 for 1 fish, 2 tender meal. I will not visit this location again unless I’m going inside so I can get fresh food. Guy on intercom couldn’t tell me an accurate price for this meal so I assume they charged me accordingly.
