I was traveling from Denver to Orlando with my son, and once we hit Louisiana, we knew we had to stop for crawfish — when in Rome, right? I did a quick search for the best crawfish spot near Shreveport, and Chick Wagon Crawfish came up first with great local recommendations. When locals point you somewhere, you listen — and I’m really glad we did.

The place was packed, and I arrived just in time; about an hour later they were completely sold out. The seasoning was absolutely out of this world, some of the best crawfish I’ve had. The service was outstanding, especially considering how busy they were.

I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in the area. If you’re anywhere within 45 minutes (or even a bit farther), it’s well worth the drive.

OMG this was superb.🥰 This is the first time in 3 years that I have had some very very good gumbo and turkey necks the red beans and rice was amazing the hush puppies were cooked to perfection. This is my new go to spot on my lunch break. Thank you so much for the great experience and the great food

Quiet, clean, comfortable with lots of natural light. Our server Cameron gets an A+ from us. Shared a catfish and shrimp platter with Cajun fries, hushpuppies and slaw. The food was piping hot and delicious. Can't wait to go back.

Had Sunday lunch here today with family. We had the crawfish pies appetizer and the fried shrimp and boiled shrimp platters. The food was delicious with only two exceptions. I was disappointed that they don't carry Diet Dr Pepper (the nectar of life). But I did have a Mexican Coke which was nice, so sweet it's like dessert in a bottle haha! Also I didn't care for the cole slaw dressing. Imho it was a little heavy on the mayo side, but that's probably just a personal preference.

Prices were reasonable. The service was exceptional!!! I'm sorry I can't remember our server's name. But she was very young, kinda tall, and had perfect eyelashes. Maybe she'll recognize her description and remember us. I tipped her well!

For the price not enough food I ordered catfish strips ,I received chucks of fish cooked way to hard and hush puppies cold. I received nothing to eat my gumbo with and nothing to wipe my hands.

Went for lunch. Food was good. Staff were all friendly. Atmosphere was welcoming and accommodating for my wheelchair. Props to Jacob for having to deal with the two women complaining about everything. I'm sorry you had to deal with that. My mother and I both felt bad for you.
