We were seated very promptly. Non-alcoholic drinks were brought out within five minutes, Sangria soon after. We shared the broccoli appetizer and found it to be exactly as described. My husband ordered the crawfish ravioli and found the serving much smaller than in past visits. I ordered the penthouse salad after verifying there is lettuce in it - completely missing from the description. We ordered bananas foster for dessert. Surprisingly, our ticket was just under $60. We spent more a few weeks ago at Chili's for lower quality service and food!The only minuses are the serving size of the ravioli (I brought home half of my salad), the lack of dressing options, and the time it took to cash out. Everything else was great. The presentation of our dishes was beautiful and taste was A+.We will be visiting more often.Vegetarian options: They do have excellent salads.

Service was good, very good. Catfish and red beans/rice was also very good (order a link of sausage with it). BUT.................the best item on the menu to me and my party was the corn and crab bisque (like a thick soup) was the best thing we have ever eaten here; OMG, it is such a flavor excitement and simply delicious! The restaurant was clean and we enjoyed the ambiance.

We never got waited on and we just left. We loved this place this is where we had our first date.
Today on 4/8 around 6:30PM I was absolutely disgusted by the horrid service provided by the bartender. To the hostess you did amazing THANK YOU. Kudos for not serving me a drink for an expired ID. I am totally understanding of that. However, as a bartender please have a better personality and don’t use a binder to produce mixed drinks which is why I waited 15 minutes for a water with lemon. I have been here multiple times and EVERY other bartender was AMAZING! Oh and just so you know the bartender at Longhorn Steakhouse greeted me happily with a smile when I said “hey boo boo”.

We walked in on Easter Sunday willing to spend 300+ dollars and the manager, we looked it up, was very rude to my niece. Her mother was right there she could have easily talked to the mother but instead scolded the child and made her cry. You just don’t talk to kids that way really unprofessional we will not be back. El Chicos was better.
