I tried the crawfish cornbread smothered in crawfish étouffée, and it was absolutely delicious! The cornbread was moist with just the right amount of sweetness, and the rich, flavorful étouffée really tied it all together. The portion was generous, and the seasoning had that authentic Cajun flair. Service was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere had a nice local feel.
The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the wait time was a little longer than expected, but overall it was a great experience. I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu!

Good was good. First time trying crawfish supreme!! I think there may have been one other customer part of the time I was there but the service was nonexistent. I did get my food. I let the waitress/bartender know I may have finished my food if I had something to drink but she said nothing. Guess she would rather visit with coworkers than earn tips. Pay must be enough.

This place would be easy to miss. A nondescript building with few windows. The Cajun seafood here is great though as well as the service. Had Boudin balls as an appetizer. They would melt in your mouth. And for dinner blackened redfish. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Lots of dessert options including beignets. Had the cheesecake, a great awesome tasting thick slice. Excellent selection of beer etc.

This used to be my husband’s and my favorite place to eat in Shreveport but it has been about a year since last eating here and has since had a change in ownership.
We decided to take a friend from Colorado, who had never had the cajun experience and we were saddened by the experience.
Although, the upgraded looks of the place was nice, looks can be deceiving. The fish was really muddy tasting, the slaw was bland, the gator bites were tough, all the food was cold (because we were forgotten about), and the zydeco music was playing in the restrooms but not in the dining area, which for a Cajun restaurant, helps elevate the Cajun experience.
Our waiter was very nice, however, because he was also the bartender, we were put on the back burner for the drinks he had to make for the other guests and our was food wasn’t served to us until got cold.
I expressed to the waiter that the food was bad but nothing was done to make it right.
We will NOT be going back!!

The food was awesome. I had Catfish and shrimp. Delicious and the Catfish was nice thick pieces. Wish we had a crawdaddys over here in east Texas. Update had my 70th birthday dinner here. Bryan was the best waiter ever. The food was superbly delicious 😋. Best fish, boudin balls and drinks ever.

53 years old first time in LA with my son (his first time too). He ordered the fried gator, tasted phenomenal, I'm not big on the texture but he loved it. I had the crayfish cornbread with the etoufe (I know I think I spelled it wrong) but it was great and I don't normally like cornbread but I could eat this every day. Waitress was very good checking on us several times and the prices were decent.

Always a favorite with our family until today and was very disappointed. Food portions were about half the size, you had to ask for the coleslaw and tomatoes , when before it was always offered first. Gratuity added on party of 5 and not 6. Just was not the same in many ways.
Very good food and great customers service.

Very good catfish and shrimp. Stopped in for dinner, by myself, on a business trip. Food was great, as was the service. Darius was the Waiter; he was friendly, courteous, professional, and checked back frequently but not too frequently.
He suggested the pickled tomatoes (green tomato pieces pickled in a tangy, little bit sweet, tiny bit spicy brine.
