Wonderful food and even better service! The two photos I took don’t do this place justice. We ordered a little bit of everything off the menu, then got to shop! Absolutely delicious and love the hometown, family-owned atmosphere. Definitely will make the 2-hour drive to eat here again!
Just the most delightful place ever! Eat lunch at tables placed among the groceries, shop for unusual gourmet treats and take-home foods, and visit friends and the charming Cush "boys" - and they will even tote your selections to the car. Get chicken salad (by pint or quart), chicken Alfredo or real meatballs & spaghetti (one will feed 3-4), and lots of fresh steaks to cook out. You will return often!
Visited with some coworkers for lunch and was wonderfully surprised by the atmosphere and food. As other reviews mention, the hot turkey & cheese was delicious and the sweet potato fries were some of the best I'd ever had. I thought it was cool that it doubled as a grocery store and market with some pretty cool stuff like Maine Blueberry Syrup. Definitely worth a visit.
